Metal 2 the Masses

This year we are lucky to be able to bring back the Bloodstock:  Metal 2 the Masses Competition for the second year running! After the success of last years competition with Intensive Square going off from our competition to play the Bloodstock stage, and the enthusiasm and notice it brought to the Metal scene in South Wales, We’d like to make our second year a good one and we are looking for Metal bands to compete for some amazing prizes such as:

The winner of The Green Rooms Metal 2 The Masses campaign will not only play at Bloodstock and also stand the opportunity of playing either Metalcamp or Wacken as you know, but Wacken will then choose a Metal Battle winner from bands representing the world and they will win a full record deal with none other than Nuclear Blast! 

Quite simply the opportunity for a breakthrough act to play at Bloodstock in front of thousands, alongside this they get to play through some of the best backline available courtesy of Blackstar, Mapex, Marshall and Ampeg.

If your band is lucky enough to be chosen to play Bloodstock 2012 then you also stand the chance of playing not only Wacken Open Air (Ger) 2012, but also MetalCamp (Slov) 2012.  In Metal terms these stand alongside Bloodstock as the major independent festivals.

WHY ARE WE CHARGING £5 ENTRY TO THE COMPETITION?

The competition was amazingly successful last year, but drop outs and date alterations etc, meant that it took upa lot of time and administration to make sure that the competition run smoothly and fairly.  As such we are asking for a minimum fee of £5 per band, which equates to about a pound per band member.  This can either be paid by paypal at the bottom of the form, or by sending a cheque to the venue (please email and arrange)
