Metal 2 the Masses 2012: HEAT 1 RESULTS!!!
A big thank you to all the bands that helped kick off the Metal 2 the Masses competition this year at The green ROoms, Heat 1 was awesome and definitely sets the bar high for the rest of the competition! We massively appreciate all the bands entering and making the first heat an awesome one!
Here are the results! As always the results are made up 50% public vote and 50% judges votes
1ST place: Charcoal Sun 29.55% of the total votes
2ND Place: Mantikore 26.85% of the total votes
3RD place: Blue Gillespie 22.70% of the total votes
4TH place: Legions Burn 20.90% of the total votes
Here’s some interesting facts for you!!
Charcoal Sun had both the highest judges and public vote!
Mantikore had the highest first place public votes and were the only band with an axe during the evening!
It was a firsts time at the Green Rooms for Blue Gillespie, Legions Burn and Charcoal Sun.
Spelling mistake corner this week: There were a few spelling mistakes on the public vote sheets including ‘Legions of Doom’ which was scribbled out and re-written, ‘Something Giles Bie’ and ‘Charcoaled Sun’
So Congratulations , Charcoal Sun we’ll see you in the semi finals, we’ll be sending you your semi final date shortly, so keep checking your emails!
We’ll be keeping all your details and will be keeping you in mind/putting you forward with promoters if gig slots become available.
