No Consequence & guests rip the place apart!

There was a air of anticipation on the bands playing tonight, but none of these bands disappointed.

On first were Iconoclast, with their commanding frontman – wailing, growling and screaming at once (is that even possible?) with forceful heavy riffs, doublebass drumkicks this band are here show us what they can do. Intermingling soft vocals with hard hitting growls is hard to pull off at the best of times but these guys can do it.  Storm the walls sadly couldn’t make the night but their bassist helped out Iconoclast during their set!  Check them out here.

Next on were Kryophere, Bringing something new to the hardcore/death metal scene they can only be described as technical, melodic, quirky death metal.  ]Bashing out songs from their  debut album ‘Hiraeth’.  Super fast double pedal, blinding guitar riffs and two crazed frontment rebounding their vocals off each other.  Hiraeth is an album to get hold of!  Check them out here and buy it!!!!

Plaque of Ashitaka shocked next.  Guys who are mild mannered and awesomely friendly plugged in their gear and turned into some angry bitches!  From playing guitar and angry shouts in the faces of the audience these guys bring the shock factor.  Both talented and blinding to watch, they are hard to describe so its best to see them live!  Fierce.  Check them out here and get their EP ‘Taking lives on Ancient Tides’

No Consequence headlined for their first ever welsh date and did a fine job!   Tearing up the place with their unique brand of intricate modern death metal hardcore they took no prisoners and gave a polished and brutal performance.  These guys are on the way up and are bashing out lots of dates on their current tour in support of their new album ‘In the Shadow of Gods’ – there is no excuse not to catch them on their way round.  Check out their dates and tunes here!
