New Years Eve with Secret Enemy, the secret is definitely out!

End of the noughties and what better way to see in the New Year with some local bands, lots of food and loads of drink!  Although our first New Years Eve party run far from smoothly and without hitches (mentioning no names!)  It was nonetheless an amazing evening thanks to the band of the night – The Secret Enemy!

Blasting through some classic punk covers such as early Iggy and the Stooges the DTeez set the night off in true punk fashion.  With some amazing vocals from their leading lady Alyson, some banging drums and amazing tunes they set the bar high for the evening.  Check out their myspace here!

Last but by no means least were the ever-energetic and thoroughly entertaining The Secret Enemy.  With their awesome band of hardcore fans leaping and dancing like loons all night their definitely a band to catch live.  To see in the new year they removed their tops, ripped through a punky rendition of Auld Lang Syne leading straight into their version of Killing in the Name of.  Thanks to the guys and their fans for making it an awesome night, shame the other bands couldn’t stay around to see them in action ‘cos they were great!  .  There will be another chance to see The Secret Enemy at The Green Rooms on the 27th March with three other bands on the bill! Definitely check these guys out at their myspace site here!
