First live night of 2010 with Jack Knife Fight, Panic Basket and Struck Out!
Back in the swing of things for 2010, and our first one blasted out the Christmas cobwebs with three wicked bands!
Proper old school punkers Struck out certainly know how to thrash out some classic punk. From their look to the sound and their attituted they are a band that are sticking to the punk heritage, and doing it well! You have got to see this band – check them out on myspace (click here)
Next up were Panicbasket from the depth of the Rhondda Valleys, they describe themselves as Harcore/ Jazz/Pop – this doesn’t even begin to describe this band. Not only are they super-energetic, they have some mental songs such as Nine Eyes and an amazing stage presence. If you like something a bit different this is the band to go and see. They finished off their set with a song called Who’s the greatest Geoffrey? -Check it out on myspace here
Headlining we the spectacular Jack knife Fight who are destined for greatness this year – and you can tell they are determined to make it! Get their demo, join the groups and go see them live because they are great. Bringing their own twist on punk rock for the new generation, they are talented band with the ability and looks to get there. We liked them, you will too – check them out here!
