Business a-go-go!

And there we were, in Vietnam complaining that we were shattered and that we never wanted to plan anything again after our monumentous wedding! To think that by the time we were in Cambodia we would have some new, exciting venture already in our heads. After returning from Bali, we settled down in our hobbit house in Rhoose to start a new business!

Cambodia was amazing (see crazy picture of deep fried tarantula yum!)… although the people out there have very little and have had much tragedy in their lives, they always have a smile and a keen sense of entrepeneurialship (good word!). Those guys can start businesses on next-to-no money. It made us re-evaluate the way we live in the UK and encouraged us to strive for a better life where we could work for ourselves rather than for someone else, and spend everyday doing something we loved (together…which is a bonus!)

So far so good….we came up with what seems like a good business idea within a relatively short period of time. Although I am a scientist by trade and Wayne is a self proclaimed ‘wheel master’ we harbour a love….bordering on the obsessive (Our CD collection is nearly taking over our house!) of music. And thus was born the idea of a set of rehearsal rooms teamed with a licenced showcasing venue allowing talented but inexperienced bands to take the leap from rehearsals to performing. We also wanted to cater for the more mature band or artist looking for good, clean and well maintained rehearsal and perfomance facilities with high spec equipment.
